Maxcel^® MLT (Melatonin), chemically as N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, is a hormone found in animals, plants, fungi and bacteria. In animals, melatonin controls the daily night-day cycle, thereby allowing the entrainment of the circadian rhythms of several biological functions.
