Maxcel^® BAB (Beta Arbutin) is used as a skin-lightening agent in many cosmetic products, it inhibits the activity of Tyrosinase and thus prevents the formation of melanin, reduces the skin pigment deposition. Maxcel^® BAB also has antibacterial effects and diminishing inflammation, which can be applied in medicine for scald.
