Maxcel® KAD, Kojic Acid Dipalmitate
Maxcel® KAD, also known as Kojic Acid Dipalmitate, is a fat-soluble derivative of Kojic Acid. It is superior to Kojic Acid in whitening ability and it is more stable than Kojic Acid in cosmetic formulations. It has excellent compounding properties, it is stable from pH 3 to 10, it does not complex with metal ions and compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. It is stable in heat and light, with no color change.

Maxcel® KAD can suppress skin pigmentation. Its ability to suppress melanin formation makes it effective in lightening dark skin or areas of dark skin. Its effects will be boosted when used in combination with glucosamine derivative Vitasing® NAG (N-Acetyl Glucosamine). It is widely used in creams and lotions of sunscreen, lightening and anti-ageing products.
